AUC Confirms Wind Technical Rule

In a welcome decision May 31, the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) confirmed the AESO’s Wind Technical Rules (ISO Rule 502.1). Originally filed in August 2010, the rule is fundamental to enabling the AESO to integrate more wind into the grid in a manner that is safe, reliable, fair, efficient and openly competitive.

Christina Lake and Northwest of Fort McMurray
